The actual mechanical closing time AMCOTCLX (in milliseconds) is defined as:

Initial mechanical delay
As explained in

mechanical movement time at its MCMOVTMLX output. The individual value for open and close
operation is given at the AUXSWTOLX and AUXSWTCLX outputs, respectively.

Adaptive correction

Adaptive correction for closing
After some time in service, the properties of the circuit breaker may change. Adaptive correction is
the technique of tracking changes in actual operating times and automatically adjusting the controlled
switching parameters accordingly. ACBMSCBR does this by evaluating the electrical and mechanical
target errors monitored in the last controlled closing operation.
For adaptive correction of electrical making time, the function evaluates the electrical target error
) as the difference between the predicted and actual making times.

Similarly, the function evaluates the mechanical target error as the difference between the predicted
and actual mechanical closing times.

This evaluated error is utilized for adjusting the CB release instant in the next controlled closing
operation. For example, the electrical error is compensated in a proportionate way for the
subsequent close operation as shown in
