Control Unit

You can connect the "Free blocks" module for the Control Unit used.
Note
You can only activate and deactivate function modules OFFLINE.
Activating a function module
1. Activate the "Free function blocks" function module by clicking the option.
2. Save the project to back up the settings.

Web server

Activating and configuring the web server

The web server provides information on a SINAMICS device via its web pages. The server is
accessed using an Internet browser (see Chapter "Supported browsers (Page 158)"). You
can find further information on access to the web server and the functions of the web server
in Chapter "Web server" of the SINAMICS S120 Function Manual Drive Functions.
You configure the web server in the Startdrive commissioning tool in the "Web server"
screen form. Generally you can perform the configuration both in the ONLINE as well as in
the OFFLINE mode of Startdrive. We recommend that you configure the web server
OFFLINE.
