4.10 Commissioning a drive
Actual values
The values currently active in the drive are displayed at "Actual values" (actual values and
current values in the drive). In addition to the default parameter values, additional r-
parameters are available for free selection in two drop-down lists.

Modify traversing block

You can traverse the programmed traversing blocks using the "Modify traversing blocks"
function. You can test individual traversing blocks or all programmed traversing blocks in an
automatic run.
Preconditions
● There is an ONLINE connection to the drive unit.
● The "Basic positioner" function module is activated.
● The drive control panel is called and the master control is activated (see Chapter "Using
the control panel (Page 204)").
● The configured encoder system is homed.
Procedure
To modify the traversing blocks, proceed as follows:
1. Select "Basic positioner" in the "Operating mode" drop-down list.
2. Then select "Modify traversing blocks".
3. Click the "1" icon to switch on the motor.
The "Traversing block no." entry is displayed.
4. Enter the number of the traversing block at "Traversing block no.".
5. Click "Start" to start the traversing block.
Drive status
The status of the various parameters are displayed as LEDs at "Drive status".

Active homing

When homing is activated, you traverse the drive to a home position without using a higher-
level control system. The drive itself controls and monitors the homing cycle.
