ACS5000W gen. 2
The operator panel on the control compartment enables the
operator to control the drive without restrictions, provided that
all requirements for normal operation are met. The functions of
the local operator panel include:
Connecting and disconnecting the main power supply
Setting the reference value
Starting and stopping the drive system
Displaying: Actual values, status messages and alarm and
fault messages
Viewing and setting parameters
Resetting alarm and fault messages
Activating the emergency-off
Testing lights and illuminated push buttons

Explanation
– Starts / stops drive and motor
– Displays status messages
– Displays alarm and fault messages of the drive and
monitored foreign equipment
– Resets alarm and fault messages

Illuminated push button opens the main circuit breaker
Illuminated push button charges the DC link and closes the
main circuit breaker
– Flashing light: alarm
– Permanent light: fault
– Resets the emergency-off relay in the drive control
system
– Flashes when the auxiliary voltage is switched on, or
when an emergency-off switch is pressed
– Prevents starting when pressed at standstill of the drive
– Main circuit breaker opens and DC link discharges when
pressed during operation of the drive
