3.5-inch Device

If you purchased the server wi th the additional HDD cage (with 3.5-inch bay) being built-in, one slot for backup device such as
a magnetic tape drive is provided.

Setting of SCSI ID
Refer to the manual that comes with the SCSI controller.

Set the terminator to "OFF".

Installation
Take the following steps to install the 3.5-inch device.
1.
See the s ection "Preparing for Installation and Removal"
2.
Unlock th e front bezel with the security key, and remove the front bezel.
3.
Remove a screw and remove the additional tray.
4.
Pull the SCSI cable and power cable being formed in 3.5-inch device bay out of the server.

Insert the device into the additional tray and secure it with four screws.
