1. 48 Vdc Logic Relay

Remove the bolt and locknut that secure the 48 Vdc logic relay to the fuse bracket and remove the
relay from the machine.
3.
Measure the coil resistance between terminals 85 and 86 of the 48 Vdc logic relay
should measure approximately 72 ohms.
4.
Test the continuity of the 48 Vdc logic relay.
Note:
You need a multimeter and a 12 Vdc power source to perform this test.
A.
Connect the multimeter probes to terminals 30 and 87 of the relay and set the meter to perform
a continuity test.
B.
Connect the ground connector of the power source to terminal 86 of the relay.
C.
Connect the 12 Vdc positive connector of a power source to terminal 85 of the relay.
Note:
When you connect 12 Vdc to terminal 85 of the relay, you should measure less than 2 ohms
between terminals 30 and 87. When you disconnect the 12 Vdc positive connector from terminal 85, you
should read open (infinite resistance).
