Hole Punching
When the hole punch option is installed it can be activated using the
following options.
Option Value Alternate Value
punch=0
punch=1
punch=2
punch=3
punch=4
If this option is not specified, the default value of nopunch is used.
This function is not available for all paper sizes and users should refer to
the copier manual for a list of compatible paper sizes. In particular, A5,
A6, and statement paper sizes do not support this function.
Example: The command to hole punch the long edge feed portrait page is
lp –o punch=1

You can select the paper source and the media type using the following
options.

The paper source that contains plain paper is requested.
The paper source that contains transparency slides is requested.
The paper source that contains tab paper is requested.
The paper source that contains disk labels is requested.

The paper source that contains insert paper is requested.
The paper source that contains special paper is requested.
Description
Hole punching is turned off.
Hole punch long edge without rotation.
Hole punch short edge without rotation.
Hole punch long edge with 180° rotation.
Hole punch short edge with 180° rotation.
