Send to File
This transfer agent stores scanned files on the controller or on a file
server.
Location: click the down arrow and select a location for the scanned
file from the list box. Choices are
Path: displays the path for storing the scanned file, consisting of
<group number>-<group name>-<template number>-<template
name>. If the template is set up to allow saving to a network folder,
you can set this value.
Note: When creating a scan to file template with a network folder
destination on a Microsoft Domain, enter the
User Name/Domain Name. If you scan to a NetWare folder specify the
Network Path
Login User Name: This field is available only if the template is set up
to allow the user to specify the network folder. Enter the user name of
a user who has access rights to the specified path.
Password: This field is available only if the template is set up to allow
the user to specify the network folder. Enter the password that
corresponds to the user name you entered in the previous field.
Confirm Password: This field is available only if the template is set
up to allow the user to specify the network folder. Reenter the
password corresponding to the user name you entered in the
User Name
File Name: enter a name for the scanned file.
File Format: click the down arrow and choose from
(G4)
Print Option: checking the
allows the user to immediately print the scanned document at the
same time the electronic version is saved to a file.
Send to E-mail
This transfer agent sends scanned files as e-mail attachments to specified
recipients.
From: enter your name (up to 128 characters).
Return E-mail Address: enter your e-mail address (up to 128
characters).
To: click this link to open the Addresses popup and select recipients.
Alternatively, for one recipient you may prefer to type the e-mail
address in the text box (up to 512 characters).
