Placing the Controller Offline

You can force the controller to remain offline for extended periods of time.
The controller will remain offline until you return it to service. While the
controller is offline, the walk-up functions of the digital copier will still
function normally.

To return the controller to online service, return to the

Enabling Secure Erase

The secure erase feature overwrites erased and deleted information to
prevent data recovery of secure information. This feature provides options
regarding the method with which the data is overwritten and also the
pattern of data overwriting.
To enable or disable secure erase:

Log in as an administrator.

Click the Administration tab.

Click the Device subtab. The Device page opens.

Under Options, click the checkbox to the left of the
label to enable or disable the Secure Erase function.
