Attaching a Surge Suppressor to Control
Equipment
When the GOT fails to work properly, for example a communication error occurs, in synchronization with the ON/OFF status of
the specific control equipment, including a molded case circuit breaker, electromagnetic contactor, relay, solenoid valve, and
induction motor (hereinafter described as load), the GOT may be affected by surge noise.
In such a case, separate the ground cable and the communication cable from the load.
When the ground cable or communication cable has to be installed close to the load, attaching a surge suppressor is
effective.
Attach a surge suppressor closest to the load.
