Fault 63: ID Module Fault

Fault Description
This fault is reported when an internal digital location ID code (address) is missing from a component, or if more
than 1 cutting reel motor reports having the same CAN ID as the primary TEC. The primary TEC controller has
recognized at least one of the cutting unit electronic addresses is outside of the standard range.
Circuit Description
The location ID module exists in the electric cutting reels circuit to identify the location of each of the three
cutting reel motors. This module allows machine features such as raising the center cutting unit slightly later
than the front cutting units, and monitoring of specific reel performance by location. The location module plugs
into the e-reels wire harness under the left side cover, next to the operator seat.
Recommended Service Actions
Step 1: Verify that the fault repeats.

The fault did not repeat. Go to

If the fault does not repeat, an isolated event has occurred.
Fail
The fault repeated. Go to Step 2.
Step 2: Test the resistance of the ID module.
The ID module is located underneath the left-hand cover assembly
