Connecting and Disconnecting the 48 V Power to the
Cutting Reel Motors
CAUTION
Before installing, removing, or servicing the cutting units, disconnect the cutting units from the
48 V power system by separating the cutting unit power connectors. This prevents unexpected
operation of cutting units.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface and lower the cutting units.
2.
Shut off the engine, apply the parking brake, and remove the key from the ignition switch.
3.
Locate the cutting unit power connectors, which are attached to the left frame rail near the operator's
seat
(Figure
5).

Separate the two connectors.
5.
After working on the cutting units, apply a coat of dielectric grease to the pins in the cutting unit power
connectors.
6.
Reattach the two connectors.

Reading Faults

The InfoCenter display shows information about your machine, such as faults, the charge level of the 12 V
battery and the 48 V battery pack, and various diagnostic messages and icons that provide current information
about the machine.
