Fault 69: Line Contactor – Overcurrent

Fault Description
This fault is reported when the contactor's internal current is too high.
The Line Contactor fault indicates a fault associated with control of the 48 V contactor. The S/G controller is
reporting an internal overcurrent fault.
Conditions for Setting the Fault
The controller inside the S/G is failing due to a contactor overcurrent.
Recommended Service Actions
Step 1: Verify that the fault repeats.

Clear the system faults from the InfoCenter. Refer to

Operate the machine.
Pass
The fault did not repeat. Go to

If the fault does not repeat, an isolated event has occurred.
Fail
The fault repeated. Go to Step 2.
Step 2: Test the functionality of the 48 V contactor.
1.
Refer to the Greensmaster TriFlex 3320/3420 Service Manual, Chapter 6.
2.
Test the function of the 48 V contactor in accordance with the service manual procedure.
Pass
The 48 V contactor passed the function test. Go to Step 3.
Fail
The 48 V contactor did not pass the function test. Replace the 48 V contactor. Go to
Machine to Service (page 21)
Step 3: Replace the S/G controller.
1.
Refer to the Greensmaster TriFlex 3320/3420 Service Manual, Chapter 6.
2.
Remove the S/G in accordance with the service manual procedure.
3.
Remove the controller from the S/G.
4.
Install the new controller on to the S/G.
5.
Install the S/G back into the machine.
6.
Function test the new S/G controller assembly.
