The CD-4COTA
CD-4COTC blade consumes four trunk ports
ranging between ports 001~200. The CN2 connector provides
connection to four analogue trunk ports, which are not polarity
sensitive. The power failure circuits (CN3), are also not polarity
sensitive.
When using the CD-4COTA/CD-4COTC blade
for loop start trunks, the PBX ground must be
connected as described in
the SV8100
Grounding on 19" Chassis on page 3-14
trunks to function correctly.
When connecting the RJ-61 cables to the
CD-4COTA/CD-4COTC blades, note the
position of the Power Failure connector (CN3).
Do not confuse this connector as the trunk
connector (CN2).
Switching from Loop Start to Ground Start is
set in system programming.
Do not wire a RJ-11 directly to the CD-4COTA/
CD-4COTC interface. Use the appropriate
RJ-61 wiring when connecting to the
CD-4COTA/CD-4COTC.
