Description
For incoming and outgoing central office calls, each trunk can be programmed to disconnect after a
defined time. The timer begins when the trunk is seized and disconnects the call after the time expires.
When used with the Warning Tone for Long Conversation feature, the system can provide a warning
tone on outgoing trunks calls before the call is disconnected.
Conditions
• Long Conversation Cutoff can disconnect incoming and outgoing CO calls after a set time.
• Long conversation cutoff is controlled separately for DISA.
• Using the Warning Tone for Long Conversation feature allows users on outgoing calls to hear a warn-
ing tone prior to the call disconnecting.
