Before Maintaining Cable Kit
This section describes the types and the flow of maintenance of the cable kit.
Note - Make sure to check the explanation described here before starting the maintenance
work. Also see contents of "Chapter 1 Before Starting Maintenance Work."

Table A-1 shows the types of maintenance for the cable kit. See "4.3 Understanding
Types of Maintenance" for the definition of maintenance.

Enabling Removal of Cable Kit
This section describes preparation for removing the cable kit.
Note - To completely shut down the system, all the power cords must be disconnected.
There is a risk of electrical failure if the power cords are not disconnected.
1.
Log in to the XSCF shell.
2.
Execute the showlogs command to identify the cable kit to be maintained.
XSCF> showlogs error

3.
Stop the system.
For details, see "5.2 Stopping System."
4.
Open the rack door.
5.
Remove all power cords from the power supply unit.
For details, see "5.3.1 Removing power cord."
