Restoring System
This section describes the procedure for restoring the system after installing the cable
kit.
1.
Connect all power cords to the power supply unit of the maintenance-target
crossbar box.
For details, see "6.4.1 Installing power cord."
Note - In a dual power feed, be sure to connect the power cord to the original position
correctly according to the notes written down before maintenance.
2.
Return to the operation of the XSCF firmware replacefru command to confirm
that the crossbar backplane unit is incorporated into the system.
For details, see "6.1 Incorporating FRU into System with replacefru Command."
3.
Diagnose the crossbar cables.
When the system board of the cabinet connected with the crossbar cables is

not incorporated into the physical partition, or when the incorporated
physical partition is powered off
bb_id: Input the BB-ID of the cabinet to start the diagnosis.
target_bb: Input the BB-ID of the cabinet with which the crossbar cables are
connected. (You can specify more than one of this.)
XSCF> diagxbu -y -b bb_id -t target_bb
When the system board of the cabinet connected with the crossbar cables is

incorporated into the physical partition, and the incorporated physical
partition is powered on
bb_id: Input the BB-ID of the cabinet to start the diagnosis.
ppar_id: Input the PPAR-ID of the cabinet with which the crossbar cables are
connected. (You can specify only one of this.)
XSCF> diagxbu -y -b bb_id -p ppar_id
4.
Execute the showlogs command to ensure that no error has occurred.
XSCF> showlogs error

5.
Power on all the physical partitions.
For details, see "6.2 Powering On Physical Partition under Maintenance."
