Protection levels

Access to programs, data and functions is user-oriented and controlled via eight hierarchical
protection levels. These are divided into
● Four password levels for system, machine manufacturer, commissioning engineer and
● Four keyswitch positions for end user
There are protection levels 0 to 7 (see table below); where
● 0 is the highest and
● 7 is the lowest level.
