Setting the Volume (Continued)

Select the sound volume to be
adjusted.

To set the Buzzer volume:
Touch [Buzzer Sound Volume] to set
the volume of the buzzer sound, such
as the beep heard when reception is
complete.

To set the Alarm volume:
Touch [Alarm Sound Volume] to set the
alarm volume, which is heard whenever
a problem develops (such as a paper
jam).

To set the Monitor volume:
Touch [Monitor Sound Volume] to set
the speaker volume heard when the
machine dials a facsimile number, for
example.

Touch [Lower] or [Louder] to
select the volume, then touch
[Enter].

To Select:
Five volume levels can be set.

shaded.
Touch [Sound OFF] to turn off the
sound.

Once the screen returns to the
same as in step 3, confirm the
registered volume levels. Touch
[Enter] if they are correct.

To modify the setting:
Touch the volume key that needs
changing, and reset the level.

Touch [Enter] repeatedly until
the display returns to the stand-
by screen.
