NEC IT3510/IT2510 Operations Manual

Amending User Data

The data and the initial status of the IT3510/IT2510, as set by the
administrator when user registration was carried out, can be modified in
accordance with the usage status for each user.
Before Starting Operations:
The administrator must be registered as a user in advance.
User Registration:
User Name:
Registers the name of the user (division or individuals).
Access Number:
Registers passwords to restrict the users.
User Number:
Register a number for each user.
User TSI:
The TSI to be printed on each page sent can be registered for each user.
F CODE:
Registers the F CODE to select the mailbox that can be used by each user.
F CODE Password:
Registers the password for a mailbox.
Remote Input Check:
Sets whether or not a password is used to restrict reception of documents into
mailboxes from other facsimiles. The factory default setting is OFF.
Priority Screen:
Sets the initial display for the stand-by screen.
Auto-mode screen.
Priority Facsimile Screen:
Sets the initial value for the destination specification screen when using the facsimile
function. The factory default is One-Touch screen.
Received documents:
Sets how to handle the document received into a mailbox. The factory default setting
is Save to Box.
Priority Image Quality:
Sets the initial value for the image quality. The factory default setting is Standard.
Priority Contrast:
Sets the initial value for the image density. The factory default setting is Normal.
Communications Mode: (Only for products using the optional 2nd G3 Port)
Sets the initial value for the communications mode. The factory default setting is
G3-1.
Initial Status of the Transmission Method:
Sets either Memory Transmission or Real-Time Transmission as the initial status. The
factory default setting is Memory Transmission.
