Transmission Settings

This section describes instructions for setting the transmission functions to be
carried out by the administrator.
The following items can be set:
Priority Image Quality:
Ë
Sets the default value for the Image Quality setting. The factory default
is Standard.
Priority Contrast:
Ë
Sets the default value for the Contrast setting. The factory default is
Normal.
Communications Mode (when the Dual G3 Port option is used):
Ë
Sets the default value for which of the two G3 facsimile lines is tried first.
The factory setting is set to try Port 1 first.
Initial Status of the Transmission Mode:
Ë
Sets either Memory Transmission or Real-Time Transmission as the
default setting. The factory setting is Memory Transmission mode.
