Installing and Replacing the Imaging Unit and Toner Bottle

This section illustrates how to install the Imaging Unit (IU). If the machine
already has an Imaging Unit installed and the message "The Imaging Unit
needs to be changed" appears on the touch panel screen, it will be necessary
to replace the Imaging Unit.
Before Starting Operations:
If an Imaging Unit is already being used in the machine, do not pull out the IU unless
the alarm message is displayed on the touch panel screen.
Keep the IU in a flat, horizontal position at all times.
Only use an NEC America, Inc. authorized Imaging Unit.

Do not drop or mishandle the IU.
