To ensure proper engine cooling, make sure the rotating screen, cooling fins and
other external surfaces of the engine are kept clean at all times. Perform this
maintenance procedure at the interval specified in the Operator's Manual.
The engine that powers Sand Pro machines is air–cooled. Operating
the engine with dirty or plugged cooling fins, a blocked rotating
screen or a plugged or dirty blower housing will result in engine
overheating and engine damage.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower any attachments, apply the
parking brake, set the key switch to the O
from the switch.
The engine and exhaust system may be hot. To avoid possible
burns, allow the engine and exhaust system to cool before working
on the engine.
Never clean engine with pressurized water. Water could enter and
contaminate the fuel system.
2. Clean the cooling fins on both of the cylinder heads.
