ERROR MESSAGES AND SIGNALS

Automatic Self-Diagnotic Function
This model has an automatic self-diagnostic function which stops operation when there an error. When the interruption occurs
in fax mode, the following messages are displayed.
Display
Alphanumeric characters are blinking in the copy quantity
display and an alarm indicator is lit or blinking.
The following message is displayed.

Cause and Remedy
Determine the type of error by looking at the alarm
indicators, and correct the problem. If the automatic self-
diagnostic fucntion is in effect, contact your dealer for
assistance.
