BROADCASTING

Using this function you can send an original to several fax machines with one operation. Originals for transmission are
scanned into memory, and are sent to the designated recipients in order. This feature is useful if for example you need to send
a report to several departments in your company. You can send an original to a maximum of 200 recipients.
Scanned originals are automatically erased after they have been sent.
If you frequently send originals to the same recipients, it is convenient to set up a group dial key. Group
dialling is of way of storing rapid dialling information, speed dialling information, and numbers from the
Note
numeric keys in one rapid key. For more information about how to enter group dialling information, see
page 2-31.

broadcast sending
You can use broadcasting only in memory send mode. If the fax machine is set to direct send mode, it automatically changes
to memory send mode. (See page 2-6)
When you use group dial the total number of recipients is incremented with each broadcast operation. For example, if 5
recipient's fax numbers are stored in one group dial key, those 5 recipients count towards the total number.
