POLLING

You can request that another fax machine automatically send an original to your fax machine when the other fax machine performs
an operation. This is called polling. You can use this function only when the other fax machine has G3 or Super G3 mode compatibility.
You can schedule only one polling operation as a timer operation. Use the following procedure for polling.

You can request that another fax machine send you the original that is set in that fax machine. You can
perform a polling operation at a scheduled time. (Timer operations: See page 3-3)

You can poll several fax machines one at a time with a single serial polling operation.

The phone charges for polling are incurred by the party initiating the polling.
You can also use polling security, which prevents unauthorized parties from polling your fax machine.
