How to Use the Polling Function
Use the following procedure.
In fax mode, press the SENDING OPTIONS key.

Press the "5" key.

Instead of pressing the "5" key you can also press the left arrow key

) or right arrow key ( ) until this message appears and press the
ENTER key.
If a polling or serial polling operation is already set, you
cannot set a new polling operation. When the previously

set operation is finished, you can set a new polling
operation.

Enter the fax number of the fax machine you want to
poll using the numeric keys.
You use rapid dialling, speed dialling, or redial to enter the number.

Cancelling
When you make a mistake entering...
Press the CLEAR key, and enter the number again.
If you use group dialling the polling method automatically
changes to serial polling. (See the next page)
Note
You cannot use program dialling with polling.

Polling begins.
Cancelling
To cancel a polling operation...
Press the CLEAR key and the polling operation is cancelled.

printing out a list of the timer operations you have
