ABOUT THE SPF

Using the SPF, you can place a number of originals, and they are fed in one sheet at a time and scanned into memory.
If you have a lot of originals you do not have to feed them one sheet at a time, reducing time spent at the fax machine.

The minimum weight of paper that you can set in the SPF is 56g/m

provided the total aggregate thickness does not exceed the maximum.
Note
Unusable Originals
You cannot use the following types of originals. Doing so will cause misfeeds or
dirty internal mechanisms.
Transparent or semi-transparent paper such as OHP film, drafting paper, and
tracing paper.
Carbon paper, thermal fax paper, paper that is wrinkled, folded, curled, torn,
taped or pasted together, or paper with pieces cut out of it.
Paper with many holes punched in it for filing (2-hole and 3-hole punched
paper, however, is acceptable).
Paper for printing with ink ribbons (thermal paper for word processors).

You must use originals of transmittable size and
thickness. Using unacceptable originals can cause
misfeeds.
Remove paper clips and staples before sending
originals.
Ensure that any glue, ink, or correction fluid is
thoroughly dry, otherwise these substances can dirty
the original table.
If placing originals with punch holes (2-hole or 3-hole),
feed the edge with the punch holes into the SPF first,
or align the holes with the original guides.
