CANCELLING A FAX TRANSMISSION OR RECEPTION

Cancelling Originals that are Waiting to be Sent
You cannot cancel an original waiting to be sent while
you are sending an original. Cancel originals when the

fax machine is idle.
Press the FUNCTION key.

Press the "4" key.

Instead of pressing the "4" key you can also press the left arrow key
( ) or right arrow key ( ) until the following message appears, and
then press the ENTER key.
If there is no job waiting, the message NOT STORED is
displayed and the fax machine returns the initial state.

Cancelling
To elect not to cancel a fax...
Press the CLEAR key again and proceed with step 3.
Press the START key.

The fax job is cancelled, the following message is displayed, and after
3 seconds the fax machine returns the initial state.
You can confirm cancelled faxes in progress and faxes
cancelled from memory by looking at the activity report.

Under the TYPE/NOTE heading, faxes are specified as
cancelled (CANCEL). (See page 5-1)
