P109 FW. RX DATA SETTING FOR FAX DATA TRANSFER
Use P109 to enter the transferring fax number for the Fax Data Transfer Mode. This function is used when you cannot use the
fax function, for example when the unit runs out of toner, a misfeed occurs, or a copy job is in progress.
When this happens, received faxes are read into memory and then sent to a different fax machine for printing. You can direct
faxes to only one other location.
When you use this function to transfer a fax job to another fax machine and that fax machine is busy,
you cannot print the transferred data on your fax machine even if you correct the error condition.
Note
When you enter P109, the following message is displayed.

When selecting the Data Transfer function

Press the "1" key.

Enter the transferring fax number using the numeric keys and press the START key.
You can only set the Data Transfer function to one location. The number can be up to 40 digits.
To insert a pause in the number, press the REDIAL/PAUSE key. Pauses are indicated on the display by a hyphen
(-).
Be careful entering long numbers because pressing the REDIAL/PAUSE key, the
as one digit.
If you make a mistake entering the number, pressing the CLEAR key erases characters one at a time. Enter the
correct number from the last character erased.
Enter the name for the remote fax machine using the character entry keys and press the

ENTER key.
The name can contain up to 20 characters.

When not selecting the Data Transfer function
Press the "2" key.
