How to Use Confidential Faxing
When Sending a Confidential Fax
Before you can send a confidential fax, please confirm that the recipient's model
also has this function. On models that do not allow you to enter the confidential
box number you cannot send confidential faxes.

In fax mode, press the SENDING OPTIONS key.

Press the "2" key.
Instead of pressing the "2" key you can also press the left arrow key
(
) or right arrow key ( ) until this message appears and press the
ENTER key.
CONF. TX MODE
ENTER BOX #
After three seconds the following messege is displayed.
ENTER BOX #
BOX #(00-99)

Enter the recipient's 2-digit confidential box number
using the numeric keys.
Press the START key.

PRESS START KEY
BOX #(00-99)

Set the original, select the appropriate original size,
resolution, and exposure, then perform the sending
operation. (See page 2-1)
You can use either direct or memory sending.
Cancelling
To cancel sending...
Press the CLEAR key and sending is cancelled. (See page 2-12)
You cannot use this function with program or group
dialling.
