AUDITING ACCOUNTS

When auditing has been set, total fax sending and receiving times and other information can be tracked for each audit account
that can send faxes (maximum of 20 accounts).
Also, for each audit account you can print out a report containing information such as total fax sending times and total page
counts. (See page 5-6)

How to Use Auditing

When auditing has been set, the fax mode initial state message displays the
following:
ENTER DEPT.#
In this case, the user must enter a 3-digit code to use the fax machine.

Enter your 3-digit account number using the numeric
keys.
When you enter the digits of your account number the " - " characters
on the display change to " * " characters. If you make a mistake
entering your code, press the CLEAR key and enter your account
number again.
When the account number is entered correctly, the following message
is displayed:
12 NOV FRI 09:00
STAND-BY
When you are finished using the fax function, press the

AUDIT CLEAR key.
When copying with auditing set, and you want to
send a fax...
Note
If the account number of the person using the copying
function and the account number for the fax function are
the same, you can interrupt the copy job, press the
COPY/FAX key to enter fax mode, and send a fax. If the
account numbers are different, wait until copying is
finished, press the COPY/FAX key to enter fax mode,
and enter the account number.
