How to Send Faxes
This section explains how to send faxes to a recipient whose fax machine is set up
for automatic reception.
Sending When Using the SPF
In fax mode, place the originals face up in the document

feeder tray. (See page 1-11)
You can set up to 30 sheets.

Confirm the original size. (See page 1-11)
If the original is of a standard size, the appropriate indicator lights up.
If your originals are of a non-standard size, press the ORIGINAL
SIZE ENTER key to select the closest size.

Select the resolution and exposure. (See page 1-14)
Initially the resolution is set to STANDARD, the exposure indicator
is not lit, and the fax machine is in the AUTO exposure mode.
Check the MEMORY indicator.

If the MEMORY indicator is lit, the fax machine is in memory mode.
