4.5.2.5 Replacing the Transformer

Prerequisites



Procedure
Step 1 Open the front and rear doors of the Converged Cabinet.
Step 2 Switch off all circuit breakers in the cabinet and the mains input circuit breaker.
This step results in service interruptions.
Step 3 Remove the EPO signal cable connected to the UPS, and then remove the cables of the
transformer.
After removing cables, wrap exposed terminals with insulation tape and do not block cable
labels. If cable labels are blocked, cables may be connected incorrectly later.
Step 4 Remove the screws at the front of the transformer.

Tools: electroprobe, insulation gloves, Phillips screwdriver, multimeter
Materials: spare functional transformer of the same model
The transformer is damaged or faulty and cannot work.
