Prerequisites
The independent deployment AI/DI unit has been installed.
Procedure
Step 1 Use a network cable to connect the COM_IN port on the independent deployment AI/DI unit
to the COM3/12V port on the ECC800e.

2.3.3.8 (Optional) Connecting Cables to a CIM

Context
In the scenario with two battery cabinets, each battery cabinet is configured with a CIM and a
Hall effect sensor. The following steps describe how to connect a CIM to a battery cabinet.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the cable between the CIM and the Hall effect sensor. The Hall effect sensors of the
battery string respectively connect to the HALL_1 and HALL_2 current monitoring ports on
the CIM.
HALL_1 port on the CIM.
The cable direction of the positive battery string (connected from the UPS to the batteries)
must be the same as the current arrow direction.
