Procedure
Step 1 Open the rear door of the cabinet.
Step 2 Turn off the output circuit breaker of the power distribution subrack corresponding to the
rPDU, and remove the power cable from the terminal block at the top of the rPDU.
Switching off the output circuit breaker of the power distribution subrack corresponding to the
rPDU will interrupt services.
Step 3 Remove the screws that secure the rPDU using a Phillips screwdriver, as shown in
Figure 4-1 Removing a rPDU
Step 4 Secure the new rPDU near the rear door of the cabinet.
Step 5 Reconnect the power cable to the rPDU, and turn on the circuit breaker of the corresponding
power distribution subrack.

replace a vertical rPDU.
