When performing high-voltage and AC operations, use dedicated tools and wear
protective equipment.
Before replacing a component which is not hot swappable, you must switch off the
upstream circuit breaker or fuse, and verify that the component to be replaced is powered
off.
Assess impact on the system before switching off the general input circuit breaker or
turning off the cooling system during parts replacement.
Do not install or remove power cables for a device which is powered on. Transient
contact between the core of the power cable and the conductor may generate electric arcs
or sparks, which may cause fire or hurt human eyes.
Before removing component cables, mark the cables with their corresponding port
numbers for later connection.
Powering off the system will interrupt services. Obtain the customer's consent before
powering off the system.
