2.2.7.13 (Optional) Installing an Independent Deployment AI/DI Unit

Procedure
Step 1 Determine the mounting holes for the independent deployment AI/DI unit based on the
cabinet layout. Engage floating nuts into appropriate mounting holes in the rack rail of the
cabinet using a floating nut mounting bar. Install two floating nuts on each side. See
2-57.

Step 2 Install the independent deployment AI/DI unit in the appropriate position in the cabinet, as
shown in
Figure 2-58 Installing an independent deployment AI/DI unit
Step 3 Set the address for the independent deployment AI/DI unit to 1.
Issue 07 (2019-12-20)
 If no floating nut mounting bar is available, using a flat-head screwdriver instead.

Ensure that the floating nuts on both sides are on the same horizontal line.
