4.5.2.8 Replacing a Battery Switch Trip Board

Prerequisites
The battery switch of the battery cabinet must be disconnected. When there are multiple
battery strings connected in parallel, all battery switches need to be disconnected. Ensure that
all battery switches are disconnected during replacement.



Procedure
Step 1 Determine the position of the faulty battery switch trip board, and open the corresponding
cabinet door.
Step 2 Loosen the captive screws on the circuit breaker panel, and remove the circuit breaker panel,
as shown in

Connect the UPS input and output power cables, smart cooling product power cable, IT
cabinet power cable, signal cable, and general input power cable in sequence. Check
whether the cable labels are consistent with the marks on the wiring terminals and
whether all cables are connected.
Turn on the battery switch, and perform power-on commissioning on the PDU.
Check whether the UPS generates abnormal alarms. If there are alarms, clear them and
start the UPS.
Tools: electroprobe, insulation gloves, Phillips screwdriver, multimeter.
Materials: A spare battery switch trip board (BIB board for short) of the same model is
available and functional.
The battery switch trip board is damaged or faulty and cannot work.
