In the figure, the circuit breaker panel of the battery cabinet has been removed. After
removing the circuit breaker panel, knock off the cover on the CIM indicator hole on the
panel.

Procedure
Step 1 Install a BIM.





Issue 07 (2019-12-20)
shows the installation position of the BIM on the battery.
The battery appearance is for reference only.
The red terminal is positive, and the black terminal is negative. Connect battery terminals
correctly.
Voltages on the BIM cable are hazardous. Therefore, wear insulation gloves when
performing operations on the cable.
Check that there is no dust on the battery surface before attaching the BIM fastener to the
battery.
The BIM fastener is closely attached to the battery.
Connect the positive and negative BIM cables respectively to the positive and negative
wiring terminals or poles of the battery.
