Electra Elite IPK II
Description
The IPK II has eight universal slots, and up to three cabinets can be installed. The system uses the
same KSU for the basic and expansion cabinets to support up to 24 Universal Slots.
Conditions

Two software packages (Basic Port Package and Expanded Port Package) are available
for the IPK II system using the CPUII ( )-U ( ) ETU. Refer to the following table for
maximum system capacities for each software package.

* 64 maximum Trunk and Station ports combined in the Basic Port Package. The system must have at least
one station card and one trunk card installed.
** 16 port slots x 24 Universal Slots = 384 +32 common ports shared by all three cabinets = 416.
There are 32 common ports in the IPK II that are shared by all three cabinets.

Each Universal Slot is a 16 Port slot.

The Basic Port Package does not limit the number of slots. It only limits the number of
ports.

The first four DTI/PRI card are assigned as 24 Channel cards, the next six are assigned as
16 Channel cards and the 11th one is assigned as an 8 Channel card.
AP/ISA Slot is not used in the IPK II.

If trying to assign an ETU which would excede the maximum number of ports for the Basic
Port Package you will not get an error, but it will not let you program the related programs.
