System Installation
Introduction
This chapter provides instructions for nal hardware installation and setup of the HP 4062
system. Included is information on system cabinet installation, power cables, instrument
settings, signal cable installation, and removing instruments from the system cabinet.
Installing the System Cabinet
If the HP 4062 is still in its shipping container, unpack the system and move it to its nal
location. Refer to the HP 4062
When moving the HP 4062 system on its casters, do not allow the casters to

become caught on cables or debris, or in cracks in the floor. The high center
of gravity and the momentum caused by pushing or pulling can cause the HP
4062 system to tip over, resulting in serious injury to personnel and damage to
equipment.
Fully raise the leveling feet if the cabinet must be moved, or the leveling feet

may be damaged.
After the HP 4062 system is moved to its nal location and before performing
