Configuration Overview

 
This section describes the initial device configuration and includes:
 Initial Device Bootup

 Preliminary Configuration Requirements

 Configuring Stacking
l
 
After all the device external connections are in place, a terminal must be connected to the device to monitor the boot and other procedures. The order of
installation and configuration procedures are illustrated in the following flowchart:
 
 
Instructions for setting up the device and hardware are provided in the preceding sections. For a first-time installation, the standard device installation is
performed. There are other special functions which can be performed, but this suspends the installation process and results in a system reboot. This option is
described later in this section.
