Descriptio n: Moves the contents of the source to the destination address register. The size of the
operation is specified as word or long. Word size source operands are sign-extended to 32-bit
quantities.

Instruction Fields:
Size field - Specifies the size of the operand to be moved:
11 - Word operation. The source operand is sign-extended to a long operand and all 32 bits
are loaded into the address register.
1 0 - Long operation.
Destination Register (Dst-Reg) field - Specifies the destination address register.
Effective Address field - Specifies the location of the source operand. All addressing modes are
allowed as shown:
