In order to define a partial acceptance test, it is necessary in the first instance to specify the
acceptance test objects, and in the second instance to define logical groups which represent
the elements of the acceptance test. The assignment of the safety-relevant machine data and
parameters to difference CRCs support this grouping (e.g. to support modular machine
concepts).
Content of the complete acceptance test
1) DOCUMENTATION
Documentation of the machine including the safety functions
1.1 Machine description (with overview diagram)
1.2 Details about the control system
1.3 Configuration diagram
1.4 Function table
1.5 SI functions per axis
1.6 Information and data about safety equipment
2) FUNCTION TEST PART 1
General function check incl. checking the wiring/programming/configuring
2.1 Test the switch-off signal paths
2.2 Test the external stops
2.3 Test of the holding torque
2.4 Test the forced checking procedure of the inputs and outputs
2.5 Test the Emergency Stop function and the safety circuits
2.6 Test all SPL switching states and associated input/output signals
2.7 Test of the PROFIsafe input/output signals
Recommendation:
A forced checking procedure should be automatically performed each time that the control
system runs up.
3) FUNCTION TEST PART 2
Detailed function test incl. checking the values of the individual SI functions used
3.1 Test of the SI function Safe Operating Stop – SBH
