Configuration - File identification
The dialog for configuring the automatic file identification has the same layout as the dialog
for comparison configuration and should be operated similarly.

When opening a file, Diff checks the stored identification configurations from top to bottom for
an appropriate configuration. The first appropriate configuration that matches the configuration
in the "Setting" tab is used. Consequently, the sequence of the stored configurations is
significant.
For instance, a configuration that operates only with file identification using the file names
should be located after a configuration that operates with file identification using the same file
names and also a file content.
Configurations not used temporarily can be deactivated by removing the checkmark.

Identification of the file name via screen form
Activate the "Identification of the content based on a character string typical for the particular
file type"
Store regular expressions that describe character strings typical for the particular file type
