Data areas
You control the following areas or data by selecting the data areas:
● Selecting the dialog pages
● Excluding data when deploying the package
● Target areas in the components
An overview when selecting dialog pages is provided in Table Overview depending on the
dialog pages of data areas (Page 145).

Select the runtime system in which the package is
executed.
Specify whether data from the unused data areas,
Archive, NCU/PPU and PCU is excluded from the
deployment.
The data of the non-selected PCU system is also
excluded.
The size of the package can be reduced by ex‐
cluding the data areas.
Specify whether the data areaArchive, PCU and/
or NCU/PPU is used for the package execution.
This configuration affects the target area nodes in
the actions of components, partially also scripts.
Unused nodes are hidden or highlighted in color if
they contain data.
