Create MyConfig - Topo
6.2 Introduction
Whereby, an Expert project with subsequent package is not required.
The "Extended user-specified topology" is used mainly for an existing machine in a service
case.
For example:
● Wiring change
● DO assignment
● Axis-drive assignment
You can also change individual drive data or insert data from other sources. Similarly, drive
objects and modules from other archives, as well as new modules, can be added or existing
ones deleted.
Topo functions
Topo provides the following functions:
● Creation of topologies via a graphical user interface using the context menu and additional
standard Windows tools.
● Import of topologies from SINUMERIK archives, from deployed topologies (ECAD XML files)
● Import of topologies from Siemens Data Exchange "*.sdx" from EPLAN Add-In, the
following applies as of CMC version V4.8.
● Verification run for created topologies
● Comparison of topologies
● Assignment of module/component properties, e.g. component name, OEM ID.
● Specification of criteria (article no.) that the package compares with the actual properties
of the SINAMICS modules on the machine to be produced (read-out TARGET topology of
the SINAMICS) and reports any impermissible deviations.
● Assignment of the DO variables to modules/components.
● Creation of a user-specified topology based on generic modules. This user-specified
topology can be downloaded directly to the SINAMICS during the package execution.
● Support of a step-by-step commissioning for missing components through deactivation of
these components.
● Use the axis-drive assignment (AAZ) to assign the configured axes to the drives that are
actually being used.
● A DOList Editor (Page 468) is integrated in Topo that provides effective support when
creating DO variables.
If you want to edit "*.uvdx", "*.uvd" DO variables independent or outside of Topo, start the
DOList Editor via the Windows Start menu as a separate application.
