If a different order is required, the order of the actions can be adjusted via the toolbar in the
"Actions" tab or via the "Up - Alt+Up" or "Down - Alt+Down" context menu.
Actions opened for execution are assigned their own tabs in the Component Editor, which are
given the name of the action. You can adjust the order of the Actions tabs by dragging and
dropping, but this has no influence on the order of execution of the actions. For execution, it
also makes no difference whether an action is open or closed.
Note
With regard to the order and execution of actions, only the list in the "Actions" tab is relevant.
Editing an action
To edit an action, you must first open it by double-clicking or via the context menu. A tab for
this action is displayed, in which the actions to be executed can be configured.
Executing / copying actions
Files and folders can be inserted below the "Execute" and "Copy" actions both as a copy and
as a link. It is also possible to mix copied and linked objects.
Deleting / editing / manipulating actions
In the "Delete", "Edit" and "Manipulate" actions, the appropriate instructions can be used to
directly create tasks, to import them from a file or to link them to an external file. In all cases,
direct editing of tasks is possible with the Script-Editor integrated in Expert. The advantage of
this is that support is always offered by Expert.
Linking actions
All links are only canceled when the package has been deployed and the data has been
accepted in the package. In this case, the advantage of the link is that, among other things,
the source data can be updated or edited independently of the project before deployment.
Version data/comment
A version can be assigned to the component. This version is noted in the logbook when
executing the package.
Information about the components can be stored in the "Comment" field. The text is not
displayed during execution and is also not adopted in the logbook.
