4.5 Component editor
The contents of components, their actions, version and comment can be displayed, edited and
configured in the Component Editor.
Components and actions
In order that a component is executed when executing the package, it must be linked with a
step and the step must be selected for execution (green icon). An existing step script can
permit or prevent execution of the components.
The component contains actions. All the relevant instructions and data are inserted in the
respective actions under the relevant tab during configuration.
Moreover, an action script can be stored for every action that is capable of controlling execution
of the action, among other things.
Actions tab
The actions to be performed by the component can be activated in the "Actions" tab.
The following actions can be created:
● Execute (Page 256)
● Delete (Page 261)
● Copy (Page 263)
● Change (Page 266)
● Manipulate (Page 274)
Sequence when executing actions
During execution of a component by the package, the activated actions (checkbox in front of
the action is activated) are executed from top to bottom according to the order in which they
are listed in the "Actions" tab.
